So before I came up with the idea of Dear Black Son, I started writing Dear Black Husband.
I wanted my future husband to know that in every way, shape, and form that I will support, inspire, and encourage him. I also wanted my words to be encouraging for other black men. Times seem to be very unfair to men of color and I just wanted them and my future husband know they they are loved, appreciated, and supported.
So Friday, I decided to post my first Dear Black Husband on my personal Instagram Page and this Happened!!!!
I was not expecting this or to be recognized but it was greatly appreciated. It did get a few likes and I did get a few new people following me. This is why I appreciate the small things.

I know at time my fears keeps me from fulfilling my purpose but I’m changing my thinking and focusing on only that of what I want.
